Talang-Satang National Park is only open to volunteers from May to September. This sea turtle conservation program allows volunteers to actively participate in turtle conservation at the famous Talang Besar Island. Brief overview:
Volunteers will take part in a full range of conservation activities, including:
1.Beach patrols to locate turtle landings.
2.Monitor sea turtle nesting activities.
3.Tagging and measuring sea turtle.
4.Transferring eggs to turtle hatchery.
5.Releasing of turtle hatchlings.
6.Data recording and on-site conservation.
Day 1

>Evening: * Roll Call by Park Warden
* Technical Briefing
* Turtle watch on nesting beach
Day2
>Morning: * Turtle management activities
* Hatchery management activities
>Afternoon: * Beach Work
>Evening: *Sea Turtle Walk
* Release of hatchlings
Day3
>Morning: * Continuous commitment with Adopt a Turtle program
>Noon: * Till we see you again and have a safe journey home
