Talang-Satang National Park is only open to volunteers from May to September. This sea turtle conservation program allows volunteers to actively participate in turtle conservation at the famous Talang Besar Island. Brief overview:
Volunteers will take part in a full range of conservation activities, including:
1.Beach patrols to locate turtle landings.
2.Monitor sea turtle nesting activities.
3.Tagging and measuring sea turtle.
4.Transferring eggs to turtle hatchery.
5.Releasing of turtle hatchlings.
6.Data recording and on-site conservation.
